Marshlands
The marshes are a unique tableau of land meeting sea meeting sky. They tell a special story of the natural world we call home and its delicate balances. Sunny, cloudy, bright, or moody…we take from them an endless, ever changing feast for the eyes.

“On my swings through Essex saltmarsh country, this spot at the end of Island Road invariably calls me. It’s a place to feel the marsh from inside the marsh. A high tide, the lingering mist and whisps of cloud from a deconstructing storm are present in a way that really touches the senses. No matter what was on my mind driving in…it’s gone now.”
